After some thought, I will list the five worst teams in sports, heavily weighted with the big three major sports...Baseball , Football and Hoops...

Some notes the Bengals have atleast made a few Super Bowls so they missed the list, same as San Diego Padres...
Tampa Bay D-Rays don`t even register

Who would be the 5th team?

Honestly you're missing one....the New York Rangers, and I am a huge Ranger fan.

I think it has to be the Clippers. They've blown so many draft picks and even when they make a good pick, the guy is gone a few years later either as a free agent or in a bad trade.

The Bengals are the laughing stock but TWO times in the big game saved them...Same with the Tigers and Padres....Falcons have been bad alot as well....Maybe a hockey team out there, certainly not the Rangers they have had their moments...

Well i thought about the Cubbies , but they have won, its just been 90+ years...

Grizzlies could qualify, but similar to Tampa Bay D-RAys I don`t even consider them legitimate franchises yet...

Bungles win hands down since 1990 or so (the Mike Brown era)...they are a complete joke...I think all the others in the poll have at least made the playoffs since 1990??? (Correct me if I'm wrong Jman...no time to look it up

As Journey says, "Super Bowls XVI AND XXIII keeps the Bengals off the list".

There was an article in SI a couple of years back and I think the LA Clippers were the worts franchise in history, next to the Washington Generals.

You can make cases for
Detroit Lions (post Civil War - nadda)
Texas Rangers
Cubs
Ari Cards
Seahawks
Leafs (no cup in 36 years with that kinda $$$)
Sabres
Capitals

Cleveland Cavaliers , haven`t been good much, usually below average..but they have won more than the Clipps..The Price - Daugherty era wasn`t that bad..

Clippers and Cardinals seem to be the bottom.
